I am big on numbers, actually its my job! So when I hear a company saying it can take any driver and make it longer, I had to give it a go. I heard of Krank from the Golf Channel airing some of their guys on their Morning Drive show, love it. And when their site says nothing can give them more distance than their driver, I said well we will see about that.
After ordering their driver, and hitting it for 30 days, I avg 267 and dispersion was 15yards max off line, very good numbers, by about 12 yards to my Ping G25. After sending it in to Worlds Hottest Drivers to be shaved, I was astounded to find my drivers avg 289 and dispersion was 8 yards off line! How was this possible you ask, well when you have a chance to swing with more control from not over swinging, how can you not hit center face? All in All, my spin rate went down for me by 1000rpm, ball speed went up from 145-156! Unthinkable numbers achievements.

I went with the 10.5 loft and Inertia shaft which has a higher launch than the other two shafts offered with this driver. It is the perfect set up for me as I can easily get the ball in the air which I struggled with at times with my Ping G20 I was using before. It’s so hard to break into the golf club market with the likes of Taylormade, Ping and Callaway etc spending millions on advertising. There have been many small golf club companies come and go and many of them made excellent clubs but trying to compete with the big companies is very hard to do. I am glad Krank has stayed around. This new formula 6 is a great club and I love the distance on the shaved version.

I think you will be very happy with this driver. I had never hit a Krank driver before and to be honest it is a little scary spending $600 on a driver that you have never swung from an online company. I had sent in one of my drivers previously to get shaved though so I knew the shaving process worked and these guys seem to genuinely try to make sure you get the added distance and aren’t just trying to sell you something.
I have been very happy with the performance and added distance on the Krank. I didn’t let the wife know about this purchase so please don’t tell her. LOL (PS I never give five stars unless I am completely blown away by the product I bought. I expected this driver to hit long and it did so that’s why the four star rating).
