I know that when you open a PowerPC app it asks you if you want to install Rosetta (if it's not already there), but i can't open this file because it.

Cheryl RN, Positive billing practices review The Rosetta Stone program is an excellent program, but I came specifically to speak to their billing practices. I had Rosetta Stone for French a couple years ago. It was set to renew today. I’ve received a couple of emails in the last 6 weeks or so telling me they were going to renew my account and giving me steps on how to cancel my subscription if I didn’t want it to renew.
I also got an email about early renewal. I decided to do an early renewal because I wanted to learn Spanish. I made the mistake of thinking I could just renew and change to Spanish, but it translated in the system to adding Spanish in addition to my French, so today I got a notice email from Rosetta Stone that my French subscription had renewed for $149.
Dang, not what I meant to happen. However, in the email, they again gave me the option to cancel within 30 days if I didn’t want it for a full refund. I called, told them what happened, and they immediately processed the cancellation and a refund. I got a confirmation number from the customer service rep, then a follow up email from her with my confirmation of cancellation. Then another email from Rosetta Stone confirming my cancellation and refund. So many subscription based businesses just try to slide that renewal in without any notice and then make it nearly impossible to cancel. It was nice to have a fairly easy and up front experience.

Kaneko Ivy, Why is it different?? I got this because I have the actual PC version of the Japanese Rosetta Stone, and I thought I would be able to access it through the app. Instead, it’s acting like it's a completely different thing??
In the app I can see all the progress I’ve made from where I’ve done it on my computer, but I can’t continue anything and the only option is a huge green button that says “unlock full access” which asks if you want to buy a subscription when you hit it. I already bought the program (which was very expensive), so why in the world would I want to pay nearly as much as what I already purchased for the SAME THING I already purchased when I already have it?? This is just as bad as when Adobe switched from selling full real CD copies of their programs to being subscription-based.
Very very disappointed that you can’t get free mobile access when you have already bought the darn thing; it feels like they’re punishing people who prefer buying complete versions instead of subscriptions. I could have sworn back when I bought my RS that it said there was a mobile option for people who bought the physical copy, but evidently this isn’t it. If they’re going to treat this like a totally separate thing you have to pay for, it seems like the progress from your physical copy shouldn’t even be there at all.

Rosetta Software Download For Mac
Reader X, who wishes to remain anonymous (which shouldn’t be hard with a name like X), desires to play it old school. He/She/It writes: I recently had a new hard drive installed on my Intel MacBook Pro. System is 10.6.8. Prior to the new hard drive, I could run applications that used Rosetta, e.g. With the new hard drive, Rosetta is no longer present, and I can’t find out how to re-install it. Normally when you try to run a PowerPC application under Snow Leopard a dialog box appears, indicating that said application can’t run natively and you need to acquire Rosetta. If your Mac is connected to the Internet, clicking a button in this dialog box downloads and installs Rosetta.
If that isn’t doing the trick, insert your Snow Leopard disc, open the Optional Installs folder on that disc, and double-click the Optional Installs.mpkg package. The Installer will open and you’ll be prompted to click Continue a couple of times and then choose a destination for the installation. Choose your startup volume and click Continue yet again. In the Custom Install on “nameofvolume” window that appears, enable the Rosetta option and click Continue. In the next window click Install to do just that.
